Fursuit Order Process
šBefore filling out a Fursuit Quote Form, please make sure you've familiarized yourself with our Fursuit Order Process and you've looked over our Fursuit Style & Price Guide.
That way you are familiar with our work, you know that kinds of suits we make, and our general pricing.
YOU MUST OWN THE CHARACTER RIGHTS OF THE CHARACTER YOU ARE LOOKING TO COMMISSION.
We kindly ask that you only fill out the Quote Form if you are ready to commission us!
You aren't obligated to buy by filling out a form. However, quoting is time consuming. If you're just window shopping, and don't have 1/3rd of the cost of a suit to put down to start your order, then please wait until you do. We will be here. :)
You must be at least 18 years of age to commission us, or your guardian will have to make the purchase for you.
šItās not the final price, but itās close.
The estimate is based on the items you selected in the form, your reference images, and character description. On average - the more complex (the more spots, stripes, wings horns, etc) your character is, the more it will cost. This is because it will take more work to create it.
Get back to us if you're interested!
If the price is within range for you, and you would like to move towards purchasing, then let us know! We are happy to discuss other details with you, or re-quote you if you've decided to add or remove various items. We may also have some tips for how to make the design cheaper if it has a lot of features that can be simplified - like reducing the number of stripes or spots.
From here we can discuss your order in depth with you! We want to know:
- Exactly which components of the suit you want
- Any specifics you have on style preferences (ex: regular paws vs puffy paws)
- Any specifics you have on material and fit preferences
- Whether you want to pay in full or do a payment plan.
- If you have a specific event you're aiming for.
šOnce we know the details we can provide you with a formal invoice
We provide you with a PDF invoice that contains all of the details for your order as per our discussions. Please review it - your order is made to these specifications!
We will also send you this invoice through Paypal (or payment type of your choosing). Now you can pay for your order!
Changes from the invoice details or add-ons not covered in the invoice can incur more charges. We will never begin work on something before you have agreed to pay for it.
šøYou can pay in full, or do payment plans.
PLEASE NOTE THAT SHIPPING IS CHARGED UPON COMPLETION OF COMMISSIONS. This is NOT calculated in the quote.
We will also need you to send us a list of measurements, and notes on how to take them. We will email this to you.
If you got a bodysuit for your order, we require you to send a Duct Tape Dummy (DTD) to draft your bodysuit from. We will send you further info on how to make one via email. We require DTDs to be made to the specifications we state in the the email to ensure a good fit. So read up! :)
**IF YOU FAIL TO SEND US THE REQUIRED MEASUREMENTS AND/OR A DTD WITHIN A TIMELY MANNER (WITHIN 2 MONTHS FROM DATE OF FULL PAYMENT), YOU WILL RUN THE RISK OF YOUR CUSTOM COMMISSION INCURRING MORE CHARGES DUE TO INCREASES IN SUPPLY, LABOR AND TIME COSTS.** This is due to us reevaluating our costs of labor every few months.
About Payment Plans
Payment Plans require you to be able to put down 1/3rd of the total cost of your commission up front. After that you can make monthly installments until it's paid off. We ask for a minimum of at least $300 a month.
We do not add you to the queue until 100% of payment AND measurements have been received.
If something comes up in your life where need to post-pone payments a while, we can work with you. Please email us directly to give us a head's up before payments elapse. There's also the possibility that you could remove elements from your commission in order to lessen the price (Ex: downgrading from a full suit to a partial).
**IF WE DO NOT HEAR FROM YOU/RECEIVE A PAYMENT FOR MORE THAN THREE (3) MONTHS, YOU WILL RUN THE RISK OF YOUR CUSTOM COMMISSION'S PRICE INCREASING DUE TO INCREASES IN SUPPLY, LABOR, AND TIME COSTS.**
**IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE ANY FORM OF COMMUNICATION FROM YOU, AND YOU ELAPSED ON PAYMENTS TOWARDS YOUR PAYMENT PLAN FOR TWELVE (12) MONTHS, WE WILL CONSIDER YOUR COMMISSION AS ABANDONED, AND THAT YOU HAVE FORFEIT ALL PAYMENTS MADE.**
About Refunds
Please be sure you want the commission and it is within your budget before purchase!
Refunds are only available to fursuits that are currently in production. In production is defined as the point in time where a customer has begun paying for their suit.
Please email us directly if you have any reason to seek a refund. We would like the opportunity to work with you to ensure you are getting what you want.
If you decide to get a refund, we automatically keep at least 25% of the full commission amount as a fee for supplies and communication. That rate increases as we get farther into your construction process. We will determine how much is due for refund based on the amount of work we have completed.
Once a Fursuit has been completed, it is no longer eligible for a refund.
š§µāCommissions are not added to the queue until the customer has paid in full AND we have received their measurements and DTD (if you got a bodysuit).
We work this way for efficiency. It ensures we can give a lot of attention to your commission in a consistent fashion over the time it takes to get created. If we started during the payment process, it would sit on a shelf part-done awaiting final payment and/or measurements. It's nice for us to be able to concentrate on it fully to see it through.
Our turnaround time is approximately 1 year from the date of full payment AND receipt of your measurements/DTD. This can vary if a design is particularly complex, or if there are highly unique components, features, padding, etc.
We can offer this quick turn around time due to our production process. We take the time to hash out the specifications with you ahead of time, we get you in our queue so we know just what projects we have going on ahead of time, and we are ready to go when it's your suit's turn!
Also, we generally use Crocs (or similar) in our foot paws! If you would like for us to use something different, please discuss with us and we can generally accommodate this for an additional charge / if you send NEW shoes in.
- Things that could delay your Turn Around Time
- Not sending your measurements and DTD in a timely fashion
- Not responding to email communications (especially when we send WIPs we need approved) in a timely fashion
- Changes to designs or add-ons mid-way through commission
šøIf you like the WIPs, we move forward. If you donāt, we do edits, within reason.
We provide our customers with WIPs during their commission projects so they can get status updates and so we can get approval before moving forward on big things. (For example: we send WIPS of your carved head before we begin patterning and furring) Itās a lot harder to go back and fix things once they are sewn or finished, so early check-ins like this make everything run smoother.
We work from your reference images and detailed invoice to create your commission, but thereās always going to be the potential for tweaks and small adjustments along the way, even when we have adhered closely to the ref. Getting approvals from you means we are listening, and we want to see your vision through - Itās part of the process!
Please know that if you want changes that go against previously discussed details or previously confirmed WIPs, then we might need to charge extra for those changes to happen. (For example: if you ordered a 4ft long tail, but upon seeing it decide it should be 2ft long.) This is because we have already worked to your specifications, and itās creating extra work to make those adjustments. Of course we will let you decide if you want to pay for the adjustment, or if we should proceed as-is.
š¦We send you final images of your fursuit assembled.
We usually photo on a model, unless it's just a few components. This way you can see the suit from various angles, and get a sense of how it wears. Please look over these thoroughly because we would like to make any edits, if needed, before it leaves our studio.
Please note that we have a limited range of models at our studio. These photos are the best way to demonstrate your fursuit all together, but this may cause the fitment to look slightly off. It will fit you properly!
Once you've approved your suit we will invoice you for the shipping cost!
Once paid, your package will arrive via FedEx Ground Shipping (or FedEx International Economy if applicable), unless discussed otherwise. The average shipping time is 3-5 business days within the US, and 7-12 days internationally.
If you like, we also offer the option of at-con delivery, provided we are going to that particular convention.
š»Take it all out of the box and try it on!
We will supply a basic write-up for how to wear your suit, so don't worry if you think it will be confusing! Just email us if you need extra wearing tips.
Please make sure everything fits well.
If you have any concerns, questions, or issues, please contact us right away so we can discuss. If you find something to be defective, please let us know and we can arrange an edit.

A Brief Fursuit Care Guide
Safety First! You will get warm in fursuit! Take care to drink water, and take breaks as needed. Your
visibility is reduced in a suit, so be aware of your surroundings. If you are prone to claustrophobia, have a
low heat tolerance, or fear the lack of visibility then you should elect a friend to be your handler -
someone to walk around with you in case you need some kind of assistance.
Packing for an Event
Donāt squish! Foam structures like heads and feet can deform if smooshed, especially the longer they sit
in a position. When possible pack them in a hard case.
Other fursuit parts can be folded up, and packed wherever you can fit them! Keep in mind that
storing them folded for long periods of time can crease the fur fibers, so itās best to unpack them and hang
them once youāre back from a con.
Brush your suit! Keep your suit looking classy by brushing it before wear with a slicker brush.
Keeping Clean and Smell-Free
Wear Underclothes. You WILL sweat in a fursuit! To protect your fursuit head from sweat you should
wear a fresh balaclava each time you wear your head. It will catch most of the sweat, and keep it from
building up in your suit. If you get a bodysuit you will want to purchase athletic gear to wear under it to
protect the suit.
Spray and Air out! Once youāve taken off your fursuit items for the day, you can spray the inside of any
part with a fursuit spray. Sprays can be purchased from various vendors (including us!) - and contain
alcohol as a disinfectant. You should hang a bodysuit and any other parts you can so they can dry out
overnight.
Washing your Suit
Donāt be a stinky fur! Wash your suit if it starts to look dirty or smell. There IS a point of no return - if you
donāt wash it after many uses and keep it locked away in a box, stewing in its own stench then the smell
will be baked in forever!
Bodysuit, Paws, Sleeves - These can all be put into the washing machine, on a gentle cycle. Cold water
only! Turn bodysuits and sleeves inside-out to protect the fibers in the wash. Hang dry, or machine dry
with NO HEAT. High heat of any kind will melt the fur fibers.
Head, Feet, Tails - A washcloth and a dab of detergent can scrub a spot off if needed. To fully clean we
recommend hand scrubbing them in a bathtub with regular clothing detergent. Do not use Woolite, or a
detergent containing a brightener or bleach. Allow to air dry, but not in direct sunlight, as it can discolor
the fur. You can set items in front of a fan to speed up drying. You should clean a suit least a week before
your intended event because items with foam and padding can take days to dry.

storage of your fursuit!
